Hannover Fairs USA announced that it has named Raymond Bianchi as Vice President of North American Events & Business Development. Mr. Bianchi is charged with managing Hannover Fairs North American portfolio of exhibitions & conferences, currently covering the renewable energy, industrial technology, and commercial vehicle segments. Hannover Fairs North American portfolio showcases the wide range of B2B events organized by Deutsche Messe in Hannover and across the globe.
Mr. Bianchi also is responsible for growing exhibitor and visitor attendance for the current Hannover Fairs North American brands and building the portfolio through acquisitions of complementary exhibitions and conferences. Prior to joining Hannover Fairs USA, Mr. Bianchi served as Vice President and Group Director of IDEAg Group. In this position, he was responsible for guiding the company through a multi-million dollar acquisition by American Farm Bureau and launching the Executive Summit Program for Technology in Agriculture. During his tenure at IDEAg Group, Mr. Bianchi dramatically grew several of the company’s events, including Farmfest, one of the five largest agricultural events in the U.S. Prior to this position, Mr. Bianchi held General Manager and Global Sales Director positions with CONEXPO/CONAGG, Advanstar, CMP Media, and Miller Freeman Inc.

Mr. Bianchi holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa and is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. He was awarded the Expo Elite Award in 2012 and 2013.
